Who We Are ?
Fiber Fab was founded by Mohamed Elshazly, a new-generation leader who comes from a house of expertise with more than 70 years dedicated to the flax industry.
Growing up surrounded by real production, field knowledge, and deep technical understanding of flax, Mohamed developed a strong foundation in every stage of the fiber process—retting, scutching, hackling, and advanced cottonizing.
After years of hands-on experience, he made the decision to build his own factory with a modern vision and international standards.
This was the beginning of Fiber Fab—a company created to redefine quality, reliability, and high-level production in the Egyptian flax sector.
Today, Fiber Fab stands as one of the most important and influential flax companies in Egypt, recognized for its clean production, advanced machinery, and consistent fiber quality.
Our Process
Planting, Harvesting & Retting
The process begins with carefully cultivated flax crops grown in fertile Egyptian regions. After harvesting, natural retting techniques are applied to separate the fiber from the plant structure while preserving strength and quality.
Scutching & Fiber Selection
Advanced scutching and mechanical cleaning remove woody components and impurities. Fibers are then sorted and selected based on length, fineness, and application requirements.
Processing & Production
Selected fibers are transformed into finished products through modern processing technologies, including
Baling, Quality Control & Export
Final products undergo strict quality inspection, grading, and secure baling before being prepared for international shipment to customers worldwide.
